We’re delighted to re-engage WindSync this fall, after their sold-out show last year was cancelled due to illness. An extraordinary ensemble comprised of five virtuosic wind players, they strive to eliminate the fourth wall by performing standing and from memory, creating a direct connection between musicians and audience. Their programs are a delight; in the span of one performance, they can cover vast musical ground, from revitalized classical repertoire to new commissions, from folk to the American Songbook. WindSync launched an international touring career after winning the 2012 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition and the 2016 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, and they continued as prize winners at the extremely prestigious 2018 M-Prize Chamber Arts Competition. Hugely in demand, we breathed a sigh of relief when we were able to secure one of their few available dates!
