BIO
Bella Anastasio is the Fleming Museum’s Operations and Visitor Services Coordinator. Bella joined the museum in 2023 and currently oversees the daily operations of the Fleming Museum, including the museum’s team of UVM Student Employees. Prior to joining the Fleming Museum, Bella lived and worked in New York City, where she received her MA in Curatorial Practice from the School of Visual Arts and worked as Assistant Director of Candice Madey Gallery. Before that, Bella attended the University of Vermont, where she received a dual degree in Art History and Studio Art. Bella first worked with the Fleming in 2019 when she took a Museum Studies course at the University through which she co-curated the exhibition Resist! Insist! Persist!, an investigation into the history of art and activism. In her free time Bella enjoys traveling, seeing live music, and spending time with her cat, Milly.
