When opening the files may sure to click "enable macros", otherwise the calculations won't work. The PV and solar hot water files include databases of manufacturer's and products...

Homework,

Heat calculations using Energy 10, Kachadorian spreadsheet, or other computer program. Kachadorian is on reserve at library if you need it.

Continue working on sketches of your project overall plan by hand or by CAD. finish 6 drawings by Nov. 1:
1) Front elevation

2) Rear elevation

3 & 4) Side elevations (East and West sides)

Please include outside dimensions.

5) Floor plan (usually shown as a top view)

6) Isometric or oblique view of exterior, which means from the corner so you can see the roof and two sides. Easy in 3D CAD, or using 2D isometric grid in CAD. By hand, get some isometric paper, which makes it easy.

7) Optional: Perspective artistic rendering

Finish the book if you haven't already.
