Housing in the Patrick Leahy Honors College | The Patrick Leahy Honors College | The University of Vermont(title)

Patrick Leahy Honors College students in their first year live together in University Heights. Second year students are also in the University Heights North or South buildings, which together comprise the Patrick Leahy Honors College Learning Community.

In Patrick Leahy Honors College communities, students learn together in their PLHC classes, grow together through advising and peer mentoring, and participate in courses and programming that enable them to find an academic work-life balance in college. The two-year residential experience helps students find community within the PLHC. Your classmates are also your neighbors, and with a variety of common spaces nearby it is easy to get together whether for a study group or a movie night.

In their junior and senior years, students will still have daytime access to the University Heights buildings to meet with advisors or take advantage of the common spaces. Students are welcome and encouraged to attend events put on by college no matter their class standing. So, while there is a residential component to your Patrick Leahy Honors College experience, you are a member of our community as long as remain enrolled in the college.
