The Graduate College is a unit of the University of Vermont and State Agricultural College and has, subject to the authority delegated to the college by the Board of Trustees, academic jurisdiction over all matters pertaining to and related to academic standards of graduate degree and certificate programs and the admission, support, and degree certification of graduate students, with the exception of the Degree of Doctor of Medicine.
