Julia Walberg obtained her Master of Speech degree in Speech-Language-Pathology (SLP) from the University of the District of Columbia. She is certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Throughout her career as an SLP, she has evaluated and treated children and adults with a variety of communication disorders, resulting from stroke, head trauma, and childhood syndromes to name a few. She began her career working with the deaf and hard of hearing population at Gallaudet University. From there she has worked in schools, private practice, and an outpatient rehabilitation center. In addition to teaching, Julia supervises graduate clinicians at the Eleanor M. Luse Center on campus. She recently moved to Vermont with her husband and two children from North Carolina.
