Moderated by UVM alumnus and Grossman Board of Advisors Member James Flicker ‘87, CFA of DC Advisory, hear from some of the best professionals in the finance industry and make connections that could help job and internship searches.

UVM Student Research Conference

Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At this exciting annual event, students from all academic disciplines showcase their research, creative, and scholarly activity, create new connections, and foster a community of intellectual curiosity. Registration for the UVM Student Research Conference is open through March 30.
Hoffman Family Business Lecture

Thursday, April 20, 2023 from noon to 1 p.m.
The Hoffman Family Business Lecture Fund provides opportunities for UVM students to learn about innovative business policies and practices from leading scholars and practitioners through special guest lectures during the academic year. At this year’s event, Jordan Kassalow ‘83, founder, VisionSpring, will discuss the journey of scaling a social enterprise.
Beta Gamma Sigma and Honors Day Celebration

Friday, April 21, 2023 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for schools accredited by the International Association to Advance College Schools of Business, which comprise the top 5% of business school programs around the world including GSB. Eligible students are identified as being in the top 10% of their undergraduate program and the top 20% of students in a graduate program who have completed half of their coursework. This ceremony precedes the invitation-only Honors Day Celebration, which celebrates top undergraduate and graduate students each year.
The Joy and Jerry Meyers Cup

Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m.
This event will announce an exciting new initiative to bring student entrepreneurship to the next level. We can't say too much, but if you want to create your own business, this event is not to be missed! This event is open to all UVM students. Light refreshments will be served.
UVM Business Pitch Competition

Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Now in its 11th year, this annual competition challenges students to present their business ideas and concepts to a panel of judges. UVM students who have innovative and impactful plans to start and grow either a business or a mission-driven organization are invited to apply. The winning business teams at the UVM Business Pitch Competition walk away with cash prizes.
Commencement

Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 8:20 a.m.
On commencement day we celebrate the accomplishments of the UVM Class of 2023. These individuals join a group of special people in the world who share the lifelong value of moving humankind forward — in unique and individual ways. Students of the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) at Grossman celebrate on May 19, and Graduate College honors their grads on May 20.
