Some Passing Patterns/Moves
Pattern (click on pattern to see animation and to see siteswap)Notes
6-ball, 2-count
6-ball, 2-count
6-ball, 2-count with LL inserted (and then 23)
6-ball, 2-count with LL tennis Surprisingly fun!
6-ball, 2-count with LL inserted and then 41 Easy and fun.
6-ball, 2-count with RR inserted
6-ball, 2-count with 44 inserted Need to get better at this.
6-ball, 2-count with 3 rounds of 44 inserted (J2 holding)
6-ball, 2-count with 3 rounds of 44 inserted (J2 doing RH 4's) Might be fun to try.
6-ball, 2-count with 53 inserted Tougher than inserting 44. Get those 5's high.
6-ball, 2-count with 6 inserted Did with Greg.
6-ball, 2-count with direction reverse (passing hand first) Pretty simple.
6-ball, 2-count with direction reverse (non-passing hand first) Pretty simple.
6-ball, 2-count with 3p4p5p inserted (and then 303) Fun!
6-ball, 2-count with 3p4p5p6p inserted (and then 0303) More fun!
6-ball, J1 and J2 juggling different patterns
6-balls: J1 doing 441, J2 doing 3 and crossing passes Fun and fairly easy (1's can be behind the back)
6-balls: J1 doing 4p413, J2 doing 33p33 and crossing passes This is a way to work up to the following since all J1 passes are RL and all J2 passes are RR. Then try all J1 passes LR and all J2 passes LL.
6-balls: J1 doing 4p41, J2 doing 3 and crossing passes Not nearly as easy as the previous one, but once you get it it's fun.
6-balls: J1 doing 441, J2 doing 3, passes every 2nd and 6th beat, all tramline Need to try this.
6-balls: J1 doing 5p31, J2 doing 3 Not bad. Easier for J1 than 531!
6-balls: J1 doing 7p131, J2 doing 3 It's tough to juggle low 3s and catch the 7s, even with accurate 7s!
6-balls: J1 doing 5p551, J2 doing 333p3 Seemed hard (even with Greg doing 5551). 5's high, 3's low.
6-balls: J1 doing 5p55p1, J2 doing 3p33p3 Also hard.
6-balls: J1 doing 5p55p1, J2 doing 3p33p3 Need to try this.
6-ball, 5p31 with 4p41
The basic pattern Not too difficult (after a bit).
Both inserting a throw one beat early
Both inserting a throw two beats early
Both inserting a throw one beat late
5p31 inserting a throw two beats late
5p31 going into 4 balls and back
4p41 going into 4 balls and back
7-ball, alternating 3 and 4
7-balls: 4-count, alternating every 4 between 3 and 4 Must try!
7-balls: 8-count, alternating every 8 between 3 and 4
7-ball, 2-count, J1 juggling 4 sync, J2 juggling 3 async
7-ball, 2 count: J1 doing synchronous 4 balls, J2 doing 3 ball cascade I had a lot of trouble doing the (4,4) catching the 3p's. Greg didn't.
7-ball, 2 count: J1 doing synchronous 4 balls, J2 doing 3 ball cascade; role reversal Over my head?
7-ball, 2 count: J1 doing synchronous 4 balls, J2 doing 3 ball cascade; role reversal Greg's simpler version.
7-ball, 2 count: J1 doing synchronous 4 balls, J2 doing 3 ball cascade; role reversal [This doesn't work in Juggling Lab. I don't know how to code it.]
7 balls symmetric synchronous
7-balls, Interesting symmetric sync pattern It's fun!
7-balls, Interesting symmetric sync pattern
7-balls, Interesting symmetric sync pattern
Some 3p3p44 combos
6-balls, J2 holds Need to get better at this and then try the following ones.
6-balls, J2 does 31
7-balls, J2 does 35
8-balls, J2 does 66
8-balls, J2 does 75
Some 4p4p33 combos
6-balls, J2 does 13
7-balls, J2 does 44
7-balls, J2 does 53
Multiplexing?!?
6-ball, 2-count with 1 extra stacked on top in 1 moving spot Not that easy for me.
6-ball, 2-count with 1 extra stacked on top in 2 moving spots
6-ball, 2-count with 1 extra stacked on top in 1 stationary spot Interesting. Probably not doable for me.
6-ball, 2-count with 1 extra stacked on top in all 4 stationary spots
6-ball, 2-count with 1 moving stack and 1 stationary, non-intersecting
6-ball, 2-count with 1 moving stack and 1 stationary, intersecting
6-ball, 2-count with 1 extra stacked maximally
6-ball, 2-count with 3p4p3p It's not actually that hard! Randall and I both did it.
6-ball, 2-count with 5p 3 3p 3 4 4
Tennis (tennis throws not always shown with outside throw)
3-ball, 3
3-ball, 53133
3-ball, 34512
3-ball, 45141 A lovely pattern!
3-ball, 4713141
3-ball, (2x,4x)(2x,4)(4x,2x)(4,2x)
4-ball, 53444
4-ball, 7441444
4-ball, 7333444
4-ball, (4,6x)(2x,4)(4,4)(6x,4)(4,2x)(4,4)
Interesting Things to Try, Solo
Odd Ball Out
423, columns
423, 4s in columns, 3 passing over 4s
423, 4s crossing over 3, 3 in center
423, 4s circling around 3
423, 4s circling around 3
3-balls, 2 circling 1, easiest way: 4512
3-balls, 2 circling 1, second easiest way: (4,2)(2x,4x)
3-balls, 2 circling 1, third easiest way: (4,6x)(2x,0)
3-balls, 2 circling 1, fourth easiest way: 7401 Not so pleasing aesthetically since the 4 is so short in comparison with the 7
3-balls, 1 circling 2, easiest way: 4413
3-balls, 1 circling 2 circling the other way: 4413
4-balls, 3 circling 1, easiest way: 671712
4-balls, 2 circling 2, easiest way: 4471 Again, probably not so pleasing aesthetically since the 4s are so short in comparison with the 7
4-balls, 2 circling 2 circling: 4471
3-balls, 531 with column 5s
53444 with the 5 in the center
53444 with the 5 in the center and the others on one side then the other
