Sight Accessibility

We are going to explore two different issues concerning sight when it comes to webpages:

#1 - Low Vision
#2 - Blindness

The way these two things impact a person's ability to fully participate in and navigate a website are very different in some ways and very similar in others.

We will revisit their differences and similarities once we have discovered what technologies can be used to assist people with sight loss and how to incorporate it into an accessible website.

Before we continue, think about the way you see a computer and the way you interact with it. How do you think someone who cannot see the screen uses websites, programs, databases, and software?
