Arne Bomblies

BIO

I have a background in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis on hydrology. I am a registered professional engineer in Vermont, since 2016. I love learning about and teaching about earth systems, and have been particularly drawn to science projects that involve rugged adventure. This led to two field seasons in the McMurdo Dry Valleys in Antarctica, and extensive field research in remote parts of Niger (13 months) and Ethiopia (5 months). These field sites are of course very different, but the common thread of all of my work is understanding climate change impacts.

Area(s) of expertise

Environmental Engineering, Hydrology
