Verification of Clean Water Projects online training
This training will overview the standardized process of conducting verification visits for implemented non-regulatory clean water projects overseen by Clean Water Service Providers.
This training will cover:
- Preparing for a verification site visit
- Verifying project condition using project specific checklists
- Reporting and follow up after the verification visit

Verification Training Requirement
Partners interested in performing CWSP verification services (required inspections for post-implementation stage projects) should register for both of the above trainings as they are required to take both Tier 1 & 2 Verification Trainings to be certified. DEC will maintain a list of individuals who have attended these trainings (either live or via the recording).
Training Reimbursement
DEC has funding to reimburse eligible organizations for their participation in this training and has contracted with the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) to manage the reimbursement process. After the training, a survey will be shared that includes how to request reimbursement for attending the training. Funding through this contract is only available if trainings are taken and invoices submitted prior to December 2024.
