Friday, September 19th
12pm-6pm
Outdoor gear shops, outfitters, and guiding services will
be set up on the green offering deals on gear and sneak peaks of the
new gear being released for 2004.
Petra Cliffs outdoor climbing wall will be available to test
your climbing skills.
The first jib session of the year will be held on our rail
with snow provided from our special stash that we keep all summer
long!
Come test your flat water kayaking skills at our outdoor kayak
pool using one of the brand new whitewater kayaks.
5pm-7pm
Enjoy some great BBQ when tossing some horseshoes and getting
ready for the Contra Dance.
7pm
Vermont’s own Atlantic Crossing will be making appearance
under the bandshell to provide a night of Contra Dancing fun!
Saturday, September 20th
12pm-5pm
Had a good time on Friday? Come back again and repeat the
adventure! The wall, rail, and pool will be available for one last
day.
Shops, outfitters, and guiding services will also be available
to give one last chance at great deals and new gear for next year.
1pm-4pm
Peak Expeditions will be doing a three hour climbing rescue clinic
on the Petra Cliff climbing wall. Learn belay escapes, ascending and
descending ropes, lowering injured climbers and tons of other awesome
skills!
5pm
Doors open for our main music event: Ten Mile Tide from California
and Smokin’ Grass with special guest Gordon Stone from Vermont!
6pm
The concert begins at the bandshell with Ten Mile Tide opening
with a blistering set that is sure to get everyone moving!
Smokin’ Grass and Gordon Stone close out the night with
a concert performance that will leave wishing that next year’s
OC Fest wasn’t a year away!
Sunday, September 21st
7:30pm
Teton Gravity Research will be presenting their newest kayak flick,
Wehyakin, for your enjoyment at the CC Theater!
Come see the sickest boaters huck their bodies around in ways
you never thought possible!
Friday and Saturday Concerts - $10.00 Students and $15.00 Public (For both the
Contra Dance and Saturday Concerts!)
TGR Kayak Video Wehyaking- $4.00 Students and $5.00 Public
Raffle
Over $4,000 worth of prizes!!! Prizes include lift tickets to various ski resorts, Karhu Ruckit skis, Line skis, gear from Outdoor Gear Exchange, and tons of other prizes. The drawing will be at the concert on Saturday night. Winners do not have to be present to win.
Information
All backpacks are subject to being searched at the concerts. No alcoholic beverages
or illegal substances are permitted. Also no bottles or cans are allowed on
premises. Bathrooms, drinks, food and water will all be available.
Parking
Friday - During the festival on Friday, people are encouraged to use public transportation to reach the campus. If driving, you must park in visitor parking at Waterman or at a metered space by the water tower close to the hospital. Click to see the campus map.
After 6pm, people who are coming to the contra dance can park anywhere. Please follow all posted signage!
Saturday - Parking is available at all spaces. Once again, please follow parking regulations posted on university signs.
