Niharika Singh, a new PhD student who will be joining Professor David Jangraw's Glass Brain Lab this fall, has received a Presidential Doctoral Fellowship from the Graduate College. Niharika will be joining UVM from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in BME and is now completing an MS in Data Science. She has served her community in the Graduate Women in Computing Society, the SOFIA domestic violence support organization, and the Newark Ambassadors of Jersey Cares. She hopes to apply her skills to the development of predictive models for personalized medicine.
