The Grossman School of Business invites you to the virtual Accounting Career Fair on Thursday, September 17, 2020, from 1:30pm-4:30pm. By attending, you will enjoy unique access to discover and learn about the wide range of opportunities in the world of accounting from employers all over Vermont, New England, and beyond. Recruiters will be available for one-on-one interviews, as well as to answer questions.

This is a perfect occasion to explore accounting as a career by talking to industry experts, practice networking with employers, and learn more about the jobs and internships available. Students and alums from all academic areas are welcome and encouraged to attend.

  • The UVM Career Center and GSB Center for Student Success are a valuable resource for you. Schedule an appointment with an GSB advisor or a Career Counselor in the Career Center. Advisors will help you improve your ability to market yourself, review your resume and interview effectively.
  • Test your tech, do a practice run to make sure your technology cooperates, test your microphone and camera, and keep a power cord close by.
  • Select your ideal location, preferably a private space, clean with low-distraction background or background image.

  • Do your research on attending employers and prepare questions about the company and positions offered.
  • Bring questions, use sticky notes off screen to stay organized.
