Diploma Distribution and Academic Transcripts | Commencement | The University of Vermont(title)

Undergraduate Diplomas:
The University President will confer degrees at the University Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Diplomas will be distributed at each college/school celebration. After Sunday, May 19, unclaimed diplomas may be picked up at the Office of the Registrar’s front counter located on the 3rd floor in the Waterman Building, Monday, May 20, noon-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday, May 21-24 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Remaining diplomas will be mailed, starting the week of May 28. Questions regarding diplomas should be addressed to the Registrar’s Office at registrar@uvm.eduDegree Candidates are asked to confirm their post commencement mailing address by updating their permanent address from within myUVM.

Note: Diplomas not picked up or mailed (successfully) within one year will be shredded. After this period, a replacement diploma order form will be required to print a new diploma.

For Honors College:
Diplomas are not awarded at the Honors College Scholars Recognition on Saturday, May 18. Diplomas will be awarded at each home college/school celebration after degrees are conferred at the University Commencement Ceremony in the morning on Sunday, May 19.

Graduate College Diplomas:
The University President will confer master’s and doctoral degrees at the University Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Degree candidates will receive their academic hood and diploma during the Graduate College Ceremony on May 18. After Sunday, May 19, unclaimed diplomas may be picked up at the Office of the Registrar’s front counter located on the 3rd floor in the Waterman Building, Monday, May 20, noon-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday, May 21-24, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Remaining diplomas will be mailed, starting the week of May 28. Academic Transcripts

Academic transcripts will be updated to reflect degree completion by May 24 for all undergraduate, graduate and medical degree candidates.
