The Exercise Science (EXSC) minor is designed for students who want to deepen their understanding of the relationship between exercise and health.

Program Overview

The minor allows students to explore how exercise and the human body interact from multiple perspectives, including anatomical structure, physiological responses, biomechanical principles, motor control theories, and adapted physical activity prescription. It also provides the foundational knowledge needed to pursue advanced degrees in Exercise Science and related clinical programs such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Athletic Training.

The minor is open to undergraduate students from any major who are in good academic standing. Space is limited.

The minor consists of 14 required credits and 3 elective credits, for a total of 17 credits.
