BIO

Carol Buck-Rolland received the Sigma Theta Tau Excellence in Nursing Award in 2014. Her professional projects include leading a short-term study abroad program in Oaxaca, Mexico to promote cultural awareness and sensitivity for nurse practitioner students, as well as a faculty-led immersion course. She is a Fellow of the University of Vermont Community-University Partnerships for Service Learning and a committee member of the Champlain Valley Area Health Education Center.
