Public Health Sciences: Global Public Health

A CEPH-accredited undergraduate B.S. degree in Public Health, combined with a minor in Global Public Health, is ideal for students who are passionate about health and global citizenship.

The minor examines health care processes and systems at the global level. It is designed to emphasize interdisciplinary, integrative approaches to understanding population health and prepares students to engage in global opportunities both during their studies and in their future careers.

Global Public Health focuses on the pursuit of equitable, community-driven, and evidence-based practices and policies to improve the health of all populations globally. Upon completion of this minor, students will have explored contemporary issues in global health, understood key global health problems and their complexities, and applied their learning in an intercultural setting.
