BIO

Ashley Couture is a Speech Language Pathologist who has lived and worked in Vermont for the past 28 years.  Ashley has a degree in Psychology from McGill University and a Masters in Communication Sciences from UVM. She worked as both a Speech Language Pathologist and Therapy Research Educator at University of Vermont Medical Center for 24 years where she specialized in Augmentative Alternative Communication/Assistive Technology.

Ashley works to help each individual client find their true voice and remove barriers to their participation in life that may be created by differences in communication. Ashley participates in state-wide teaching and advocacy efforts that promote access for diverse populations and translation of evidence into everyday practice for the betterment of the clients she serves.  When Ashley isn’t wearing her Speech Language Pathology hat, she enjoys skiing, running, reading and time with family.
