2025 CCN Champions

In 1988, Andrew Galarneau parlayed student journalism experience and internships into a reporter position at the Concord (N.H.) Monitor. He covered a felony courthouse for the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times (now Tampa Bay Times), and was an investigative reporter for the Lowell (Mass.) Sun. Hired by The Buffalo News in 1997, he wrote features, investigative reporting, and reviews for 25 years, the last 13 as food editor/restaurant critic. In 2023 he quit to launch FourBites.net. It’s a Buffalo-based food magazine, concierge information service, plus a dash of investigative reporting. He has taught journalism at UB since 2000.
