What is a CATcard?
- CATcard is the name of the identification card at UVM.
- It is a digital photo ID which serves as a library card, meal card and CAT$cratch card.
- The digital CATcard also can be programmed for building access.
What it does:
Door Access
Body
- Departments may arrange access through the CATcard office for their own personnel and graduate students.
- Vendor badges may be activated for limited access at contracting department request.
- Undergraduates may hold temporary accesses assigned through CATcard, including residence hall access and specially defined accesses determined by course enrollment or other institutional privilege.
CAT$cratch
Body
- This is an optional plan that allows the user to deposit funds into a debit account on their CATcard.
- All classifications are allowed this option, but vendor and Sodexo cards must be specifically requested to have this feature.
- Also, deposits to these two card classes must be made in the CATcard office.
Meal Plan
Body
- The meal plan account is optional for all classifications except Vendor and Alumni cards. Visit Dining Service for more information.
Computer Labs
Body
- Are available to all classifications except Vendor and UVM Dependent.
