Submission Guide | Vermont Pitch Challenge | The University of Vermont(title)

Submission steps

  1. Form a challenge team (that totals between 1 and 3 people). Make sure all team members have completed the interest form and select a team captain and team name.
  2. Craft your pitch proposal. This can be either a written proposal (maximum 5 pages), a link to a YouTube video (maximum 4 minutes) or a link to a podcast recording (maximum 4 minutes). Successful proposals will meet the evaluated criteria. Download the Scoring Rubric (PDF).
  3. Have each team member complete the application (open between October 15, 2024 January 15, 2025.) Team captains should also submit the team pitch proposal. Please note that only the team captain should submit the proposal.

For finalists

  • Teams selected as finalists will be notified via email.
  • Finalists must attend the in-person Vermont Pitch Challenge event and participate in planned activities in order to qualify for prizes.
  • Present your pitch in-person in front of our panel of judges; winners will be announced at an in-person ceremony at the University of Vermont.
