adjectives (gli aggettivi)
Adjectives--words, that is, which modify nouns--usually come after the noun in Italian (while in English they come before the noun). Adjectives can be feminine or masculine, singular or plural, depending on the gender and number of the noun to which they refer. Adjectives that end in "a" are usually feminine and form the plural with "e"; adjectives that end in "o" are masculine and form the plural with "i"; adjectives that end in "e" can be masculine or feminine and in either case form the plural with "i."
Una casa bella e un giardino bello.
Due bambine belle e due bambini belli.
La mia mano destra é più grande della mia mano sinistra.
La radio è più interessante della televisione.
Adjectives that end in "ista" can be masculine or feminine, and they form the plural in the regular way--with "i" if masculine, with "e" if feminine:
Una donna femminista e due ragazze femministe.
Un uomo comunista e due ragazzi comunisti.
The adjectives of color beige, blu, rosa, and viola are invariable

The adjective "buono" follows the pattern of the indefininite articles
un uomo>>un buon uomo; uno zaino>>un buono zaino; uno studente>>un buono studente
