"I'm getting hands-on "In-the-field" experience through my internship at CDM Smith. On the bank of Fresh Pond in Cambridge, MA, I'm using a peristaltic pump to gather water from a well for analysis to ensure the water quality of the groundwater entering the drinking water source of Cambridge does not exceed harmful limits. The pH and turbidity of the water were among the criteria being recorded. I enjoy this photo because it reminds me of what I enjoy about the environmental engineering field and what I hope my future job will include."
