Find the amino acid sequence for the protein involved with the phenotype, condition or disease you have chosen. Use Biology Workbench to:

• Search for similar proteins using BLASTP and/or TBLASTN
• Do a multiple alignment and display the results with BOXSHADE
• Display the evolutionary relationships in a rooted and unrooted tree.

There is no minimum or maximum amount of information to find - in the real world, the only criterion of quality is to do as much as necessary to do the job right.

Examine and compile all relevant information.  

Print  all information which you think may be useful for your Poster, and save it for later use.

Hand in a copy to your instructor!
