UVM’s Faculty Fellows for Diversity

What are the particular opportunities and challenges involved in teaching diversity-related classes – “D1” and “D2” classes at UVM? What do the D1 and D2 designations mean, and what do they not mean? What are effective ways to talk about current events in D1 and D2 classes, particularly if the class is not focused on present-day issues? Please join members of this year’s Faculty Fellows for Diversity cohort, drawn from all of UVM’s schools and colleges, for discussion of these and other questions.

Panelists: Pablo Bose, Bree Mathon, Alan Maynard, Michael McDonald, Deb Noel, Joanne Pencak, and Jim Vigoreaux

Facilitator: Alec Ewald

Host: Dr. John Gennari
