Section Description

<p>Research and Evaluation Methods (CDAE 6510/PA 6030) has been designed to teach you how to be a better consumer and producer of science-based social research. Each and every day, as you interact with the physical world and society, you informally collect and store information. This information can influence your attitudes and behaviors on a wide array of matters. Studying science-based research methods enables (empowers) you to collect, store, and understand information in a more systemic manner; therefore, your attitudes and behaviors will be shaped by more accurate and valid information. The ultimate goal of this course is to teach you the language and practice of science-based social research so it can be incorporated into your college studies, professional work, and everyday life.</p> <p>No textbook required. All course materials are made available via Brightspace</p>

There are weekly online lecture and lab assignments, and a final exam.
