Lectures and detailed regional cadaver dissections emphasize functional anatomy of major systems (e.g. musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, nervous). Physical Therapy student or Instructor permission.

Section Description

This course takes a comprehensive regional approach to anatomy and employs human cadaveric donors. This time-tested method provides an unforgettable foundational learning experience in human anatomy and its systems.

Section Expectation

This is an intensive 6-7 week course with one-hour lectures followed by two hours of human cadaveric dissection once or twice per day (4-5 times per week) followed by an exam. There are few breaks, as students often study on the weekend, and outside pursuits (ie other classes and jobs) are strongly discouraged.

Evaluation

There are 5 exams in the class consisting of a written multiple-choice and short-answer test followed by a lab practicum.
