Sight Accessibility
ZoomText is primarily for people with vision loss and who want to magnify
and/or hear the speech of what is written on the screen. However, there
are many users of the World Wide Web (and computers in general) who do not
have any vision.
Think about how you would navigate your computer environment if you had
no capability to see what you were working on or with.
There are technologies which enable a computer to speak what is being done
by the operator, one of these such technologies is called JAWS.
Soon we'll see what JAWS can do.
Think about what differences you noticed between ZoomText and JAWS...
We'll take JAWS to a webpage and watch/listen to what happens there. [Break & Meet Downstairs]
