    A large tree, restricted to mountainous regions of central OR and WA and the Inland Empire. Needles are about 1-1/2" long and angled. Cones are about 1" long and ovoid with bracts exserted. Young twigs are initially with pale pubescence that becomes orange-brown and glabrous.
