This is a 5 gallon plastic ("pals pens" or something similar) tank (I
don't think it honestly holds 5 gallons). It's been occupied by a number
of my fish when they were smaller, but right now, everyone has graduated
to larger tanks and it is inhabited by my african frog (Xenopus
laevis. I feed it an occasional earth worm, but it lives mostly on
AquariYums and other pelleted fish food. I was hoping he (I think it's a
he, because he croaks at night, and has black "palms" on his hands, as if
he was getting conditioned to breed) would grow faster, but so far, he's
only about 1.5" from snout to bum. I suspect that he needs more meat in
his diet, but being a vegetarian, I don't come across actual meat very
often. We'll see.
