This home is listed as having been constructed in 1880 by the Vermont Historic Sites and Structures Survey. However, it appears to be present on the 1869 map. It is one of two dwellings on a lot labeled "T. P. & S. A. Kennedy." In the 1865 City Directory, Miss Mary A. Kennedy lives on Shelburn Street (presently St. Paul) south of Spruce. Henry, John, Patrick, and Thomas Kennedy are listed without residences. Miss Sarah A. Kennedy is listed as having a millinery shop on Church Street. Some years Sarah Kennedy's address is given as the same as her businesses. However, by 1900 Sarah's address is 370 St. Paul Street. This and the home next door (370) could have served as rental properties for the Kennedy's.(1)
