NetLearn/Reseau du Savoir (NL/RS)
NL/RS is a user-friendly, single-entry point to access on-line information needed for all kinds of formal and informal learning services in New Brunswick and world-wide through the Internet. NL/RS screens will help users select and view any or all of the following services: details of degree credit and extension courses, library catalogues and selected data bases, art galleries and museums, specialized education centres and institutes, join discussion groups on special topics, speakers' lists for specialised organizations, Third Age Centre and seniors' projects and programmes, technical help and training to further explore the Internet, ask-an-expert hotlines, and guide to other special information and signposts. It will not: Provide unlimited free access to the Internet, provide translation services, assume responsibility for updating information, or assume financial or legal responsibility on behalf of contributing individuals or organizations. Our experience developing this service and our current operational framework will be discussed followed by a live demonstration.
