Internship Descriptions for Brian Orleans

Internship with Alan Baer at SolarQuest: During my internship, I was assisting Alan Baer in his ambitious and intriguing entrepreneurial adventures within the realm of clean energy education. More specifically, I helped him to come up with ways to market his institute he was starting at Dana College in Nebraska, which included brainstorming for Google advertisements as well as creating a Facebook page. Additionally, my main project had to do with researching the potential of the Green Energy Economy.

Internship with AJ Rossman at 12-22 North St.: I began my internship by modeling the 12-22 North St. house in 3D in a program called Rhinoceros, using the existing floor plans and elevations. I also attempted to model the energy loads of the house and track the solar based on the sight in a program called Ecotect. I attempted this in other programs such as Google Sketchup, Equest, and Green Building Studio as well.
