At the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, close to the Israel Museum, there is a big botanical garden

In this garden there are plants from all over the world.

At the Botanical Garden there are special plants.

These shrubs need special soil and special temperature.

The tropical trees for example, need a lot of water and a lot of heat.

The garden has a scientific role and an ecological role.

Researchers and Botany students come to the garden, and also coming, many families with kids.

The students for botany come to the botanical garden as if they go to a "green classroom".

Over there they research the special plants.

They also look for new plants for gardens and farming in the country.

The families come to the garden to walk around and look at the plants.

At the Garden work also many volunteers.

They have interesting duties, since they work with the students and with the researchers for Botany.
