Chinese Tea Hour is an extracurricular activity organized by the Chinese Program at UVM from 4:30pm to 5:30pm every Friday. It usually contains two sections: the free topic discussion for the first 30 minutes and the given topic discussion for the second half. In the free topic section, attendees can talk about the news, their recent life, thrills and spills, the weather, and anything else they are interested in. In the given topic section, discussions will be focused on a specific topic as listed below. For this section, we encourage all attendees to think over the topic and gather relevant information in advance so that the discussion can be more interesting and more in-depth. Below are the topics that will be discussed during the Chinese Tea Hour this semester:

6. 中国成语（11/09）Chinese idioms
