Protect Messages From Being Altered

If you want to keep messages from being edited, forwarded, and/or printed, use the Permissions button on the toolbar when crafting a message. (This button looks like a Do Not Enter sign: a red circle with a white horizontal line through it.) The first time you use this feature, you’ll need to download Windows Rights Management from Microsoft; a browser will launch automatically and you’ll be prompted to download the software. Note that the recipient will also need this software in order to read your message at all. Both email parties also will need to sign up for Microsoft’s Information Rights Management service, a .Net Passport feature that is currently free.
