Not all mail servers support these features, but you can try getting both a delivery receipt and a read receipt for your messages to see if they’ve been received by the appropriate server and opened by the recipient, respectively. When composing a message, click the Options button in the toolbar. Here you can choose from Request A Delivery Receipt For This Message or Request A Read Receipt For This Message.
