Delay An Outgoing Message

This tip is ideal for sending a 5 a.m. message to the boss, telling him you can’t make it to work that day. When composing a message, click Options in the toolbar. Select the Do Not Deliver Before check box, and then use the two drop-down items to pick a date and time you want the message to be sent. Note that your PC must be on and Outlook must be running at this time, otherwise the message will be delayed until the next time you run Outlook.
