Customize The Navigation Pane

Don’t use the Tasks feature? You can get rid of it and configure the items that show up in the Navigation Pane by going to Tools, Options, Other, and Navigation Pane Options. Here you can select whether or not to have Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and other buttons show up in the Navigation Pane by clicking the check boxes. You also can change the order of items by selecting Move Up and Move Down when the button you want to move is highlighted. You also can reach this menu by clicking the “>>” button at the bottom-right corner of the Navigation Pane.
