To retrieve mail from a Yahoo! account, click to Tools, E-Mail Accounts, then Add A New Account. Don’t select HTTP; instead select POP3. Configure the settings as follows: Incoming mail server is pop.mail.yahoo.com, out-going mail server is smtp.mail.yahoo.com. Use your “@yahoo.com” email address in the E-Mail Address field and your user name (with no “@yahoo.com”) in the User Name field. Make sure you click More Settings. . ., and then select the Outgoing Server tab and check the box marked My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication.
