Class of '94

Greetings, all. Hope this new issue finds you happy and healthy. My apologies to those of you who have sent me messages and have not seen your news in the very next issue of the magazine. Because the magazine is published quarterly, and the deadlines for class notes are usually several months before the scheduled mailing date. If I receive your message right after a deadline, I have to hold the news for a few months until the next deadline. So, if you don’t see your news right away, keep looking. It will be printed in the next available issue. Since I’m sure everyone had plenty of news to share with classmates at reunion, this issue’s news is brief. Scott Olson wrote to say that he was recently promoted to a full-time counseling position at consumer Credit Counseling of Massachusetts. An avid golfer, he admits that he is probably the only UVM student not to have gone skiing during his tenure on campus. (Well, if it makes you feel any better, Scott, neither did I.) Scott is also pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice at Northeastern University. Gail Butler White and her husband enjoyed celebrating Christmas with their fourteen-month-old daughter, Kelsey Elizabeth. Gail and her family live in Windham, Maine. Jonah Sigel and his wife, Lisa, were married on May 30, 1999. He was sorry to have missed our reunion but sends his best to the class of ’94. Justyn Amarosa was married to David Constant in May 1998 in York Harbor, Maine. Claire Threlkeld and Michelle Angelich were in the wedding party. Justyn and David recently purchased sixty acres of land in New Hampshire, and they are building a post and beam home. In the meantime, they take long walks on the land and enjoy the wildlife there. Erika Keith Stevens and husband Kevin plan to relocate to Philadelphia by July 1999. Sheryl Moore, who recently completed her second year of law school, is engaged to marry Sloan Carr, Esq., whom she met at the Broward County, Fla., courthouse. They plan to marry on December 11, 1999. Sheryl expects Michael Ambrosino, Sarah Ehrlich ’95, Christen O’Mara ’95, Kira Leedom, and Arthur Ettinger to join in the celebration on her happy day.
