Waseya Lawton is the I-Corps Program Coordinator with UVM Innovations. In 2023 UVM joined the National Science Foundation (NSF) Innovation Corps (I-Corps) as a Hub partner with the Interior Northeast Region (IN I-Corps). In this role, Waseya manages local Hub operations and provides administrative support to program participants, mentors, and stakeholders. Additionally, she assists in marketing and communication activities for UVM Innovations and partner programs.
Before joining UVM Innovations in 2024, Waseya earned a degree in Public Communications from UVM in 2023. While at UVM she was involved with entrepreneurship and innovation on campus and was a Business Development intern with the UVM Academic Commercialization Program (ARC).
