SOCKS Health Team Lead Bob Gramling, MD, DSc presented Medical Grand Rounds at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on March 15, 2024. His presentation, "Can AI Find Moments of Human Connection in Clinical Conversations?" utilized SOCKS research in examining AI technology in various medical situations, including epidemiology, palliative care, and preservation of quality of life.
In addition to his role with SOCKS, Dr. Gramling is the head of the Vermont Conversation Lab at the University of Vermont (UVM) and the Holly & Bob Miller Chair in Palliative Medicine at the UVM Medical Center.
