Vermont EPSCoR's Center for Workforce and Professional Education (CWPE) is now accepting undergraduate internship applications for Summer 2024. A total of 12 summer research internship opportunities are available to join the National Science Foundation RII Track-1 research project The Science of Online Corpora, Knowledge, and Stories (SOCKS). This large-scale, five-year effort will create a better understanding of the power of stories in our society, and the summer internship program is essential to the success of this project.
The summer internship goes from June 10 to August 16, 2024. Interns will receive on-campus housing at the University of Vermont for eight weeks, with the final two weeks of the program being completed remotely. Students will receive hourly wages for the equivalent of $4,500 over the 10-week period.
