SOCKS Health Team Co-Lead Robert Gramling, MD, DSc, was honored with a "Cancer Warrior" Award for Research Achievement and Research Mentoring from the University of Colorado Anschutz Cancer Center.
 
In receiving the award, Dr. Gramling presented his team's research exploring how artificial intelligence can help find human connection in advanced cancer. The presentation marks one of several occasions when Dr. Gramling has spoken on this subject; he was also an invited speaker at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Medical Grand Rounds in 2024.
