In 2003, the Rubenstein School was named in honor of Steven and Beverly Rubenstein who gave a transformational gift to support the school and the university. This gift helped with the Greening of Aiken and is now providing scholarship support to graduate and undergraduate students, faculty support, and a dean's discretionary fund to spark transdisciplinary environmental education and research both school-wide and in the broader university.
