About Sarah Vose

In my role as the State Toxicologist for the Vermont Department of Health, I evaluate chemicals in the air, water, soil and other media. My team and I provide guidance on exposure to various chemicals, and recommend actions to take when chemicals in our environment exceed health-based levels.

Community Engagement

I work with various communities in Vermont to answer questions about chemical exposures. Sometimes this means visiting a community and attending a public meeting to answer questions, and sometimes this means spending time on the phone one one-on-one to answer questions.
