Brian Cote, MBA, graduated from the University of Vermont (UVM) with a bachelor's degree in Biology in 1986. Shortly after graduation, he joined UVM as a Laboratory Technician in the Biology Department. In 1993, he earned his Master’s degree from the Grossman School of Business at UVM and subsequently took on the role of Business Manager for the Biology Department. Over his 38-year career at UVM, Mr. Cote has held various positions, including Manager of General Accounting and Administrator for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department. In 2001, he transitioned to the Dean’s Office of the Larner College of Medicine as the Director of Finance. He has since been promoted to Assistant Dean, Associate Dean, and, in 2008, to Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, where he currently oversees Finance, Human Resources, and Technology Services for the College of Medicine.
