The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion hosts and sponsors numerous events that educate and inspire our community on topics related to inclusive excellence in medicine including representation, health disparities and research.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Health Equity Lecture

Established in 2014, and held annually as part of UVM's commemorations, the Martin Luther King Health Equity Lecture aims to present a fuller history of the fight to address health disparities in the United States.

Taking place during Women’s History Month in March, the Celebration of Gender Equity and the Annual Gender Equity Awards and Lecture honors the achievements and contributions of women and gender diverse individuals.
